Lindsey Julow

I learned the skill of bookbinding while I was working at a book restoration laboratory in 2008. I was instructed by a classically trained bookbinder with over 25 years of experience.

I am happy to share my love of books with you.
I love books of all kinds. I was born and raised in the Lake Champlain Islands and I even used to rescue books from landfills to find new homes for them. I have always had some form of contact with books and I am so happy to have them in my life.

My books are handmade with special papers and are leather bound. Book making is my way of taking my love for books and creatively design and put together new blank bound books that will become timeless treasures. I love the freedom of using different leathers to explore the construction of multiple types of books. These books can be used in many ways, including as journals, scrapbooks, or for original artwork. My knowledge of the art of bookbinding is ever growing.
