I have a fascination with wood and what I can find within a log or forgotten timber from a fallen barn or structure. Although my main tools are chainsaws I have spent many hours with my chisels and wood burners at different times in my life. I have lived in Milton my whole life and used to watch my father whittle and carve small creatures with his pocket knife and I am still fascinated with my memories of those times.

My carving has been a personal endeavor and I have only recently carved for others outside of the family. I am self-taught and love to work hard to create the things that make people smile and laugh. I am still learning and hope to keep adding to my knowledge I have spent many hours researching techniques. Being a part of the artist guild has been a great experience and inspiration and I'm awestruck at the talent of all of its members.
