Corrina Thurston
I'm a wildlife artist specializing in detailed, vibrant colored pencil drawings of animals. I began drawing in 2010, two years after falling chronically ill. For the next five years, I was mostly bedridden and taught myself to draw from the confines of my bed. Recently I was (finally!) diagnosed and started long-term treatment for chronic Lyme disease, Bartonella, and a number of other health problems. Treatment has been slow, but significant! Now my artwork, which started as a therapeutic outlet, has turned into a profession. I'm now an artist, entrepreneur, author, consultant, and conservationist.
