Lindsey Julow is a Vermont artisan bookbinder specializing in original cover design, leatherwork, and restoration. She was born and raised in the Lake
Champlain Islands and at an early age developed a love of books. As a young person, she would rescue books from landfills and give them new homes - often on her own shelves. Therefore, it was only natural that she would find a profession where she was surrounded by the smell of old books and leather.
In 2008, Lindsey worked at a conservation laboratory where she quickly learned and excelled at binding and restoration. Shortly thereafter, she pursued the craft of bookbinding on her own and was mentored by a master bookbinder from France.
During this time, her expertise developed into art as she explored new materials and applied her own creative skills in the bindings.

Her books are handmade with high-quality papers and leathers.
